Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • "VenueDash" refers to the platform operated by App Venturers.
  • "Host" refers to users listing venues.
  • "Guest" refers to users booking venues.
  • "User" means any person using the Platform.
  • "Offline Payment" means payment made directly between Guest and Host, outside the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to register and use the Platform. By using VenueDash, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Our Role

VenueDash provides a venue listing and booking request platform only. We are not a party to any contract between Hosts and Guests, and we do not handle payments between them.

4. Host Responsibilities

  • Ensure all information about your venue is accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to booking requests promptly.
  • Deliver the agreed-upon venue on the selected date.
  • Handle offline payments directly with Guests.

5. Guest Responsibilities

  • Use the Platform to request bookings.
  • Pay the Host directly using the agreed method.
  • Respect the property, rules, and agreed times of use.

6. Subscription & Listing Fees

Hosts are required to pay a listing fee or subscription to display their venue. VenueDash integrates with Paystack for secure host payments. Venues will remain in draft status until payment is confirmed.

7. Booking Agreement

Once a booking request is confirmed by the Host, it constitutes a binding agreement between Host and Guest. VenueDash does not mediate disputes.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Violate any laws or third-party rights.
  • Use the platform for overnight stays or accommodation bookings.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on VenueDash are owned by App Venturers or licensed appropriately. You may not use, copy, or reproduce any content without permission.

10. Liability Disclaimer

VenueDash is not liable for any damages, loss, or injury arising from use of the Platform or any bookings made. We make no warranties about venue quality, accuracy, or safety.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VenueDash and its affiliates against any claims or disputes arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
